Kevin Hogarth
Kevin is a NED, coach and business adviser. He sits on the Boards of The Law Society, Dimensions UK and Betterspace. His coaching and advisory work focuses on leadership, governance, senior talent and EDI.
His executive career spanned nearly 40 years primarily in financial and professional services with senior roles at Abbey National, Capital One, Freshfields, Norton Rose Fulbright, EY and finally as Chief People Officer for KPMG UK.
In recognition of his passion and commitment to creating diverse workforces and inclusive cultures, Kevin was included in HR Magazine's Most Influential UK HR Practitioners 2022 and listed as an INvolve Heroes Women Role Model 2021 & 2022, and as a Top 50 Ally Executive in the Outstanding LGBT+ Role Models list 2022. He has also served as a steering group member for the government-sponsored Hampton Alexander/FTSE Women Leaders Review.
Kevin holds an honours degree in Politics from the University of York and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Andrew Magowan
Andrew is a down-to-earth, perceptive, influential and adaptable senior executive, with both deep cross-business and broad industry experience, particularly in companies that are growing globally from a UK base. He has been a GC/Legal Director; Co Sec in areas as diverse as online fashion retail (ASOS), fine wine & spirits (325-year-old Berry Bros. & Rudd), oil & gas services helicopters (Bristow Group Inc), and airport retailing (Alpha Group plc).
As you’d expect of a long-time General Counsel, he is highly experienced in pretty much anything ‘commercial’, with an exceptional understanding of where value really lies that delivers innovative, tailored, effective legal, risk and reputation management, compliance and corporate governance. He enjoys finding out what makes an organisation tick, and using that to ensure that the business is successful in the short-term, while still remaining sustainable, enduring and robust over the long-term. He is passionate about environmental and social responsibility, culture and business design, ethics, integrity and authenticity. He has a focus on the future, in the firm belief that they are all central to business success in a world where consumers are ever more engaged, demanding and empowered.
Lucie Allen - Managing Director, BARBRI International
Lucie is an established and energetic leader with over 20 years commercial experience working across a variety of industries and verticals. Lucie spent seven years' at Thomson Reuters prior to joining Barbri in a global role as vice president in the legal segment, where she worked closely with global law firm leaders. Lucie has created organisational structures, built teams, defined propositions and developed successful customer account programmes throughout her career to deliver top line growth. She is recognised for her collaborative approach, influence and ability to execute on her strategic vision. Lucie is passionate about diversity and inclusion advancement in the workplace as well as supporting people with their personal development and career goals to achieve their potential. She is a cohort lead for Thrive with Mentoring, a not-for-profit women’s mentoring programme, sits on the board for London Skills for Growth and London South East Colleges Group and She Breaks the Law as well as ByFoke.
