We’re dedicated to the power of data to affect meaningful and positive change. Responsible business is an investment, not a cost. We want to move towards a more fruitful, fair and future-proofed industry by reframing success as something that creates opportunity for social and broader stakeholder impact.
What we do
Lamp House Strategy is an insights specialist for the legal sector. Our data-driven approach helps law firms to measure and develop their responsible business strategy and will empower leaders to make greater impact on their people, planet and profit.
Our market evaluation of 125 law firms and their responsible business activities provides objective evidence of:
- What best practice looks like and what to do to get started with foundations
- How firms compare to the market average and leaders
- Where firms have gaps and where they are leading versus their peers
- Establish a benchmark to measure future progress
Lamp House Analytics is our new data platform launching in January 2024, a dashboard containing analysis of the responsible business strategies of more than 125 law firms from the US, UK and Canada. This is based on an evaluation of more than 200 responsible business activities. Find out more here.
Via our interactive dashboards, law firms are able to compare their firms own profile to the market average, leaders and specific peers. By understanding how they measure up to their peers, firms can make sound decisions on where and how to invest in improving performance and creating a lasting and impactful legacy. General Counsel have complimentary access to our service.
The team at Lamp House Strategy are experienced researchers and also work with firms on a range of bespoke stakeholder research programs, strategy consultancy and support executive teams in delivering content for meetings and retreats.

She sold that business to Thomson Reuters in 2019. During 2022, Lisa successfully completed the Sustainability Leadership Programme at Imperial College Business School, London.
Lisa teaches periodically at the Center for the Legal Profession at Harvard Law School and has led extensive research to find levers to achieve greater equity, diversity & inclusion and wellbeing within the professions.
