Yes we can.
- I have an old shade that needs to be recovered. Do you do recovers?
Yes we do. Just contact us and we will tell you how to send it to us, how long it will take and what the charges will be.
- I have a lamp or fixture that is broken. Do you do repairs?
Yes we do. We have a staff of expert lamp repair professionals. Just contact us and we will tell you how to send it to us, how long it will take and what the charges will be.
- I have a lamp that I really like, but the finish has pitted and tarnished. Can you refinish it?
Yes we can. We can replate most lamps or fixtures. We offer brass, antique brass, chrome, gold and silver replating. Just contact us and we will tell you how to send it to us, how long it will take and what the charges will be.
- I have a tiffany shade that has some broken glass. Can you repair it?
Yes we can. We have a wonderful tiffany specialist that can repair your tiffany for you. We use only the finest replacement tiffany glass. Just contact us and we will tell you how to send it to us, how long it will take and what the charges will be.
- Do you do COD's?
Nope
- How do you do the billing?
On lamp or fixture orders, we charge your credit card for 1/2 of the invoice total at the time of order. Then we charge your card the balance when shipment from factory is confirmed. On lampshades that will be shipped from stock or within
one week, the entire amount is billed at the time of order. On lampshade orders that will take longer than one week to ship, we will charge your card for 1/2 of the order total and then the other 1/2 when we ship the shade.
- I am building a house and need everything. What do I do?
We recommend that you visit your local lighting store to get some ideas on what you like. If you see a particular item that strikes your fancy, get the brand and model number. Contact us for a price and availability. Or you could hire a interior decorator to help with your selections.
- I don't see that item I was looking for?
Contact us with your best description and we will try to locate it for you. We can e-mail you a picture to verify that it is the correct item.
- When will I receive my order?
Most lamps and fixtures are shipped directly to you from the factory. We place the order for the item on the same or next business day. In most cases, it takes between 2 to 4 weeks to receive your order. Most factories manufacture their products to order. We will contact you regarding estimated time of delivery and will try to work within your schedule as best we can. Sometimes it will take longer than our estimates. In those few cases, we will keep in touch with you and the factory to resolve the delay. As far as lampshades are concerned, most are shipped within 2 weeks. We stock more than 4000 shades and if it is on hand, it will be shipped immediately.
- What if I do not like my purchase?
This rarely happens! There is a 20% restocking charge on all returned items. Return freight charges are your responsibility. A special order is defined as any item NOT in stock at time of order. SPECIAL ORDERS CAN NOT BE CANCELLED. Special order items are not returnable. If any item is defective, replacements will be sent & we will pay the replacement shipping charges. Please save all original packaging materials. We can not accept any return without the original packaging.
- What if my order is damaged by UPS or the shipper?
Although we make extensive efforts to securely box up all of our products, the shippers sometimes damage the merchandise. First...CALL US IMMEDIATELY! Second...Save all packing materials. We will contact the shipper for you and have the item picked up. We will also start the process of getting you a replacement item.
